Guide to Charging the Toyota Proace EV

Follow the steps below to charge KINTO’s Proace EV.

1. Take out the cable
Remove the cable from the compartment behind the passenger seat, accessible from the luggage area. The charging cable is marked “ladekabel”.

2. Plug in the cable
Insert the cable into the car at the front on the driver’s side (the car must be unlocked), then connect it to the charging station.

3. Charging

Returning the car – Plug in the cable. Hold the card against the station until it lights blue, and wait until the button on the car near the cable blinks green. The car is now charging.

Picking up the car – Unlock the car, hold the card to the station until it lights green. Remove the cable, fold it, and place it back in the compartment behind the passenger seat.

4. When the car is fully charged
The button next to the charging socket on the car will light green.

Notes

Make sure the front of the car faces the charging station.
There is an emergency charging cable in the car, marked “nødladekabel”. This cable can be used in a regular power outlet.
