Parking with a car sharing car in Copenhagen

Where can you park?

Parking rules in Copenhagen can be complex, so we’ve made it easy to get a clear overview.

All KINTO cars have a car‑sharing license in both Frederiksberg Municipality and City of Copenhagen. This means the cars may be parked in all public parking spaces in green, blue, and yellow zones – at no extra cost to you as a user.

parking included

You can always park in these spaces:

  • - Public parking spaces in green, yellow, and blue zones, as well as in Frederiksberg
(These spaces are typically not signposted. If there is a sign, it will for example say:  'Betalingszone - Grøn zone'.
  • - The car’s designated car‑sharing parking space, marked 'Reserveret til biler med delebilslicens'. This is where you pick up and return the car.
  • - Please pay special attention if the sign states that the car must be connected to charging.
  • - Red Zone (city centre) on weekends and outside 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • - Time‑limited parking spaces during your booking
(Remember to set the parking disc and never end a booking on a time‑limited space.)

Always look for these signs to ensure correct parking.
